Some years ago I heard this CD on KPFT but believe the mandolin artist has passed away-can you help me? jumphodges23@yahoo.com .ThanksAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7211910878271447535.post-25884498882260629182007-12-08T21:02:00.000-05:002007-12-08T21:02:00.000-05:00Hey Ted. It sounded quite interesting - especially the part about their roots in NY and how some of their music is inspired by events here around the mining industry.

Both "Red Letter Day" and “Iron and Diamonds” sound like great CDs. I wish I'd heard some of the interview.

You mentioned it had been well publicized on the Bluegrass Blog and I must admit I've not been "up" on the bluegrass blog scene since my blog and interests have taken me all over the place - sometimes completely unknowingly.

I'm always hoping for a bit more time to check out new blogs and I still live in hope but both time and energy have been a rare commodity in my life of late.

Thank you so much for your informatvie interview. I'll be on the lookout for these CDs and for the Gibson Brothers as well since we seem to be "neighbors" sort of - (different sides of the state)

Peace, love and understanding to all.RubyShooZhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04635824666916881430noreply@blogger.com
