I plan to start drawing impressions and analyses of this year's IBMA World of Bluegrass together beginning Sunday afternoon and for several days into the future.  My quick overview suggests I don't know enough to tell whether attendance is up, down, or sideways. All I can say is that the halls are crowded, particularly in the evening with the full range of the bluegrass community, from fans to high profile performers to industry executives and everything in between chatting (read networking), doing business, and playing. The environment here is exciting and engaging....it's the place for bluegrassers to spend some time and to become re-energized.
