IBMA 2012 - Fan Fest - Saturday & Sunday

Fan Fest on Saturday morning always begins with a performance by Kids of Bluegrass. These kids have been rehearsing for two days and bring the talent and hard work they have put into bluegrass music to the Fan Fest stage at IBMA's World of Bluegrass. This year's tribute to Earl Scroggs and Doc Watson showed, once again, that traditional bluegrass music is still very much alive and has nothing to fear from new forms of expression as these kids revel in it all.

Sunday Morning

   On Sunday morning Fan Fest presents a low key, non-denominational yet distinctly Christian, morning program, usually attended by a small, but enthusiastic, audience, and offering the best in bluegrass gospel music along with a brief testimony and devotional moments.  While gospel music is a key part of bluegrass, this morning is devoted to it. Sadly, most people are busy getting away, and the audience is small, but fervent.
