Saturday at the Tennessee Fall Homecoming at the Museum of Appalachia offered the nicest day and the largest crowd of the weekend. There was a fall chill in the air, but the sun was bright and by afternoon the people who wore shorts were proven to have made the correct clothing choice. We spent a good deal of our time with Darin & Brooke Aldridge, so our coverage reflects our day. Here's a look at it, with more to come tomorrow or Wednesday.
The Rigneys
The Rigneys are a Tennessee-based family band whose base is in gospel bluegrass and who have allowed the interests of their talented sons to broaden their music while never allowing themselves to stray to far from their origins. Their music has become more interesting while the boys have developed as musicians. Keep an eye out for this developing band.

Darin & Brooke Aldridge
Darin & Brooke Aldridge have had a busy few years. This young, attractive band has become a favorite on the festival circuit for their combination of deeply held faith songs and others featuring strong relationships in wholesome settings. The band is strong with Rachel Johnson Boyd on fiddle and harmony vocals adding a rich tone, while Dwayne Anderson singing and playing bass adds much both vocally and instrumentally. Colin Willis on Dobro is solid and Matt Love increasingly comfortable on the banjo.
