BBU LOGO Contest for Joe Val 2012

The Boston Bluegrass Union invites graphic designers, either professionals or talented amateurs to submit entries for a logo to be used as the official logo for 2012 Joe Val Bluegrass Festival to be held at the Framingham Sheraton Inn from February 17 - 19, 2012. This will be the 27th Joe Val Festitval.  Here's the announcement from BBU:

"The Boston Bluegrass Union is excited to announce a graphic contest for our 27th annual Joe Val Bluegrass Festival.  The festival will take place February 17, 18, and 19, 2012.

We invite you to show your creative genius by creating a graphic for our 2012 event.  The graphic will be used on festival t-shirts - both those for sale to the public and those worn by the attendees of the BBU Kids’ Academy and the festival staff.  The graphic will also be in the festival program book, on the BBU website and Facebook page, and will potentially be incorporated in festival promotional material, e.g. posters.

The winner receives $150, a free weekend ticket to the festival, a festival t-shirt with the graphic, and recognition in the program book and elsewhere.   The submission deadline is October 31, 2011 (the deadline has been extended from the original date of October 15).

The contest is open to everyone.  And there's no entry fee.  Help us spread the word!

For more information and contest guidelines and entry form, visit http://www.bbu.org/graphic_contest.html ."

Specific guidelines as well as a link to a PDF entry form are provided in the link above. There's no entry fee.

Good luck to all who enter.
